Aluminium mirror is a glass mirror with a reflective aluminium layer deposited on the glass. Aluminium is a good coating metal because of its reflectance: it has the highest reflectance of any metal in the ultraviolet and infrared ranges and falls behind silver only in visible and near-infrared light. Silver mirror uses a silver coating instead; both types are listed in the table above.

Mirrors are packed in wooden boxes with iron supports, the safest method for container shipments, or in bulk racks. For distant destinations we recommend box packaging; bulk racks suit shorter routes.

Sea shipments leave from the port of Bandar Abbas for your destination port; mirrors can also travel by land and rail. The packaging and the delivery term are stated in the quotation.

What sets the price of 4, 5, 6 and 8 mm mirror

Silver mirror is quoted per order rather than from a price list, because the same mirror costs a different amount depending on how it is specified and delivered. The main price drivers are:

• thickness: 4, 5, 6 or 8 mm (a thicker mirror uses more glass per square metre)
• colour of the base glass: clear, bronze, grey, blue or smoked
• sheet size, or cutting to your dimensions
• packing: bulk racks or wooden boxes
• delivery term: EXW, FOB or CFR, and the freight to your port
• the quantity per thickness and colour
