Supply range for wholesale and project orders
We supply laminated safety glass in bulk for glass processors, wholesalers and building projects. Standard build-ups are two-layer and three-layer, in 4+4, 5+5, 6+6 and 4+6 mm, bonded with a PVB interlayer of 0.38, 0.76 or 1.52 mm. Clear and grey are standard; other colours are made on request. A tempered version is available in 3+3, 4+4, 5+5 and 6+6 mm.
Sheets are supplied at standard size or cut to your dimensions, and orders ship by land, rail or sea. The full specification is in the table above, and what sets the price is below.
To quote a wholesale order quickly, include:
- ply configuration (for example 5+5 mm) and interlayer thickness
- colour: clear, grey or a custom colour
- sheet size or a cutting list
- quantity and the destination port
What determines the price of laminated float glass
Laminated float glass is made to order, so its price follows the configuration you choose:
- build-up: two-layer or three-layer, for example 4+4, 5+5, 6+6 or 4+6 mm (nominal total thickness about 8.8 to 12.8 mm with a 0.76 mm interlayer: 4+4 is 8.76 mm, 6+6 is 12.76 mm)
- PVB interlayer thickness: 0.38, 0.76 or 1.52 mm; a thicker interlayer costs more
- colour: clear, grey or a custom colour
- sheet size or cutting to your dimensions
- delivery term (EXW, FOB or CFR) and the quantity
Send your configuration through a request for quotation.
Why laminated glass is specified
Building standards increasingly require a glass that stays in its frame when it breaks, anywhere falling glass would be a hazard — overhead glazing, balustrades, glass floors and stairs. A laminate answers that because the PVB interlayer holds the fragments in place instead of letting the pane shatter out of the opening.
- Post-breakage retention: the interlayer keeps the fragments in place
- Better sound insulation than a single annealed pane of the same thickness
- Harder to break through, which discourages forced entry
- Available as a tempered laminate where a higher residual strength is needed
What drives the price, minimum order and quote time?
Thickness, sheet size, colour or pattern, processing, packing, delivery term and quantity affect the quotation. Send the specification, quantity and destination through the quotation form. We confirm availability, the applicable minimum order and the time needed to prepare your quote after reviewing those details; a delivery or response time is not promised before that review.
